Game Highlights
Bellport, lead by seniors Isaiah Grigg, Charles Fox and Billy Hardy, opened the first round
of the Suffolk County Class A Playoffs against Newfield at Newfield High School.
The game was close for three quarters, but Newfield's strong guard play and rebounding
advantage finally took its toll in the fourth quarter as Newfield defeated Bellport 68-44.
Trayarn Singletary lead Bellport with 10 points.
Stanley Henderson and Billy Hardy each had 9 points.
Bellport concludes the 2000-2001 season with a final record of 11-8.
