 Game Highlights
Hauppauge 62, Bellport 53: Bellport closed to within 3 points of Hauppague with
less than 2 minutes left in the game. As senior Eddie Sheffey drove to the basket it
appeared he was tripped, but instead was called for a walk.On the insuing
inbounds play, Cedric Bias ripped the ball from Hauppague and was streaming
   down court for an uncontested  lay up, when the Ref blew his whistle.
 The Ref claimed that Hauppague had requested a time out and awarded them the ball.
With Bellport forced to foul for the ball, Mike Galarza (30 points) hit 9 of his
10 free throws in the fourth quarter
as No. 15 Hauppauge (12-7) defeated in a first-round Class A playoff.
10 points. Tray Singletary led No. 2 Bellport (14-5) with 18 points.
